~Seeking the Truth & Speaking the Truth~
Welcome Words can be used so very cleverly ~ to conceal more than they reveal, to manipulate more than they educate. Since converting to Islam in 2006, I have noticed this to be very much the case in regards to what is being said about Islam and Muslims in popular discourse. That this is leading to a 21st CENTURY HOLOCAUST should be of great concern to every-one.
My desire is first to seek the truth and then to speak the truth to the best of my ability. That can bring upon one's head both blessings and curses, but so be it. Truth is worth fighting for, living for, dying for. I am a convert to Islam as of the summer of 2006, thanks to Allah swt and to an online chat-friend who asked me many times over the course of a year to read a translation of the meaning of the Qur'an, which I finally did. Since then I have taken the name Salmah Umm Zainab. I am of Scots-Irish-Anglo-Native American descent and I live in a small town in the northwest of the USA.
